What We Do
Mint Upholstery is a small upholstery business in Nelson on the South Island of New Zealand. We work with customers to create beautiful, one-off statement pieces. Our passion lies in reviving the stories woven into old chairs; stripping away layers of worn fabric and decades of wear to give them a fresh, new lease of life.
Please note that we have to be quite selective with the work that we take on. We have limited time and space, so we prioritise small, interesting pieces. We do not handle sofas, large armchairs, sew squabs, or similar items.
